To attract customers and visitors to the town centre KI will make the most of many unique features including:
The Project Champion and Community Representative for this project are: Duncan Hamilton, James Higgins, David Gear, Graeme Mclay, Frances Tonner, Robert Muir and Stuart McIntosh.
- The setting of Kirkintilloch Town centre next to the Forth & Clyde canal and the Campsie Hills
- The Roman and industrial heritage of the area
- New facilities like the leisure centre, marina, Arts and Cultural Centre
- Better access to the town centre and increased car parking facilities
