Southbank Area Redevelopment
The Southbank area is set to be transformed into a new business and leisure park, with a focus on tourism and craft activity. This project is being led by the East Dunbartonshire Development company and part funded by KI. It will:
The Project Champion and Community Representative for this project are: Andrew Thomson, Derrick Milligan and Stuart McIntosh.
- Offer potential for new jobs
- Link the north and south banks of the canal by a new footbridge
- Help to drive the development of a 46 berth marina, new offices, canal-side pub / restaurant and the Arts & Cultural Centre
