To allow for the construction of the Kirkintilloch Link Road to progress, excavation of earth cuttings and deposition of suitable material in the road embankment have to take place with re-usable materials from south of Lindsaybeg Road being placed at north Lindsaybeg Road....

Work has started today on the Cult Burn in the area between Millersneuk Wetlands and Millersneuk Avenue. This work is part of the normal routine maintenance of the burn which has not been done for some time and is also required to facilitate construction of the new Link Road...
