Affordable Housing

I had a meeting with the Council’s Housing Service to discuss a programme that would make sure that a proportion of the new housing being promoted by KI is affordable. KI already has a budget allocated for this project and is working to secure additional funding from bodies like Communities Scotland. We are working to establish some certainty about the timing of additional funding and the availability of land. Once this is done the Affordable Housing Community Representative and Project Champion will draw up an implementation programme to take this project forward over the new few years.
