Kirkintilloch Link Road

Monday 21 July to Friday 25 July - Detailed discussions between the Contractor and the Design Team continue with a view to finalising the details of the contract for construction of the Link Road. In the meantime the Contractor is developing his programme and carrying out a range of preparatory works which are necessary before the heavy engineering work can get started. These include accommodation works for adjoining landowners, setting out and preparatory survey work and works required to provide access to the site. The Contractor’s compound is now fairly well established at Woodilee Road and is becoming the centre of activity.
