Southbank

Monday 26 May to Friday 30 May - Flooding of the Southbank Marina started this week. The water has to be pumped in gradually from the adjacent canal. It will take about a week to bring the level in the marina up to the same level as the canal at which point it will be possible to break through the marina entrance area. I was in the new offices which lie next to the marina this week. They have a spectacular outlook. The Development Company has already let some of the offices for a June entry and I am sure that they will have no difficulty in letting the rest when the market sees the impressive setting. Work at Southbank is expected to be completed by mid-June with the exception of the new Access Road which will take a little longer.
