Monday 12 May to Friday 16 May - The regular KI / EDC Planning Service liaison meeting took place this week. These meetings consider an update on progress with each of the projects and looks at advance information about planning issues which may arise. Updates were provided on the Kirkintilloch Link Road, the Integrated Care Centre and the Southbank Access Road. The proposals at the Eagle Inn on Cowgate were also discussed. A new set of proposals for this property are expected to be submitted shortly. Potential development adjacent to the Link Road and the timescale for bringing this forward was reviewed. The Southbank Transport Masterplan exercise was discussed and future possible developments in the town centre were considered.  -
