Monday 14 April to Friday 18 April - East Dunbartonshire Councillors were given a joint presentation on Kirkintilloch’s Initiative and the Lennoxtown Initiative this week. I represented KI and Brian McAleenan, Chief Executive represented LI. The presentation outlined the history and structure of the two initiatives and provided an update on progress with the projects. Quite a lot of questions were asked and I think all present left with a more in-depth knowledge of what the Initiatives are doing and why they have been set up in the way that they have.

I had my regular meeting with the Planning Service this week. Discussion topics included the Link Road, the Southbank Access Road, the Integrated Care Centre and the KI asset disposal programme.
