Woodilee Housing

Posted on 4 Apr 2008

Monday 3 March to Friday 28 March - This diary entry covers a 4 week period which for me included a weeks holiday and the Easter weekend. It is amazing how the loss of a few days at work creates an intense catch-up period in which some tasks such as the Director’s Diary tend to be delayed by urgent operational work. Anyway I think things are just about back to normal so here is a catch up with the diary.

The KI office is receiving an increasing number of calls from the public relating to the proposed housing development at the former Woodilee Hospital site. These have been generated by some activity on site on preparatory works and a recent planning application by the Developers for relaxation of one of the planning conditions on their consent. Although there is a relationship between KI and the Developers at Woodilee, KI is not in a position to know exactly what the Developers are doing at Woodilee or how they are approaching the implementation of their planning consent. Some of the calls we receive are from interested buyers of property at the new development and some are from local people who want more information about what is happening. Wherever possible we will provide information and if we don’t know we will provide callers with the contact details of the Developers.
