Work continues on tree removal and the treatment of Japanese knotweed on site. In the office the outstanding issues which need to be resolved before the main construction contract can be awarded are moving gradually towards completion. This was an important week for the financial arrangements. Final agreements on the structure of the funding package were reached and approved by all of the contributing organisations. This puts KI in a position to award the main construction contact as soon as the planning and statutory consents are all in place.
