Arts & Cultural Centre

The KI Team working on the Arts & Cultural Centre met this week with a representative of the Scottish Arts Council to report on progress. This is part of a series of regular progress meetings. We were able to report good progress on the appointment of the Design Team and the fixing of the design programme. The arrangements for setting up an operational Trust are also well advanced. The Trust needs to be in place to allow the fundraising strategy to be put into action as this means that donors who only give to charitable organisations can be approached. Work on updating the Business Plan, developing the programme and enhancing community consultation and engagement is also progressing well.
