Southbank

The meeting with residents which was postponed from last week took place this week. The Engineers have been able to provide enough information to allow discussion of various alignment changes which address some of the residents concerns. Agreement was reached on the best way to take forward the detailed design of the road and associated mitigation measures. A further meeting was arranged for 8 January by which time the residents will have received a full set of drawings illustrating all elements of the proposal. This week I have also been heavily involved in meetings regarding the contractual arrangements for completing all of the work at Southbank - including the Southbank Access Road.
