Affordable Housing

KI is here for the long-term interests of the community and wants to ensure that the projects are carried out in a sustainable way. This week I met with the Council’s Sustainability Officer to discuss issues such as energy efficiency, building materials, and construction processes. I also met with the Council’s Housing Service to discuss the opportunities for making sure that a significant proportion of the new housing in the area is affordable for families on lower income.Read next: Leisure Centre
