Management Meetings
Posted on 8 Oct 2007
This diary entry covers 4 weeks, one of which was a holiday week for me.
The last few weeks have been a busy time for me in respect of management meetings. The KI Partnership Board met on 19 September and the KI Executive Group met on 4 October. In addition I have had a number of meetings with the Council’s Finance Team and Planning Service. The KI Partnership Board is the final decision making body on KI projects. At its most recent meeting the Kirkintilloch Town Hall Preservation Trust made a presentation on its plans. Since then the Trust has been awarded £145,000 by the BIG Lottery Fund to assist in developing their business plan and associated building proposals. The Partnership Board also approved reports on management procedures for Kirkintilloch Link Road, the appointment of design team for Arts and Cultural Centre, progress with asset disposal and an update on the financial arrangements required to assure continued progress with the delivery of the KI projects.
