This has been a big week as far as financial planning is concerned. The financial position was discussed in some detail at last week’s Executive Group meeting. This week I have been looking in great detail at the financial projections and preparing a report for discussion with the Council and the NHS prior to its submission to the KI Partnership Board. We are getting very close to entering into construction contracts for the Kirkintilloch Link Road (approx. £17M) and the Integrated Care Centre (approx. £8M). Before the Executive Group can recommend acceptance of these contracts to the KI Board we have to be absolutely sure that our financial projections are robust.
