Integrated Care Centre
Posted on 10 Aug 2007
Detailed discussions regarding the final layout of the Integrated Care Centre are now reaching conclusions which allow a revised planning application to be submitted. We have agreed with the Planning Service the general approach to the planning application and the supporting documentation which is required. The Transport Assessment is well advanced and arrangements have been made to carry out bat surveys, ecological impact assessments and an assessment of the impact of tree loss taking account of proposed mitigation measures. We have also been in discussion with engineers to develop a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) and to determine whether a flood risk assessment is required. The revised planning application and all of the supporting information are expected to be with the Planning Service before the end of August. At the same time the design work and associated building warrant applications and funding arrangements are being progressed with a view to being able to start construction work later on this year.Read next: Arts & Cultural Centre
