Transport Masterplan

Further progress was made this week with the Kirkintilloch Transport Masterplan. I met with Council representatives to consider a proposal for developing a transport model for the whole town. This is a tool which will allow us to assess the effects of various different possible changes to the road network and parking arrangements in the town. This week I also attended a Risk Management Workshop for the Kirkintilloch Link Road. This identified all of the outstanding risks associated with delivery of the road and prepared an action plan for minimising these risks.
