Woodilee Road Corridor

There have been a number of meetings recently with landowners in the Woodilee Road Corridor to agree a submission to the Local Plan Issues Paper. The aim of this group is to achieve redevelopment of the Woodilee Road Corridor which is beneficial to the Kirkintilloch area and establishes a pleasant “gateway” to Kirkintilloch from the south using the new Link Road. Lots of really exciting ideas are emerging. It’s early in the process but KI believes that a group of landowners can achieve more than individuals alone. I’m hopeful that the Local Plan Issues Paper submission is the beginning of a relationship which could contribute significantly to economic development in the Kirkintilloch area.
