Gallowhill Junction Improvement

After a bit of a stop / start approach to these improvements the contractor has now agreed a programme for completion with the Council’s Roads Service. Most of this work can be carried out with little disruption to the flow of traffic and pedestrians. However, there does need to be a period of working when traffic movements on the main road are controlled by traffic temporary lights. This is likely to be highly disruptive and has been programmed for the weekend of the 16/17 June. This will be heavily publicised nearer the time in order to discourage as much traffic as possible from using this area. The programme anticipates completion of the works by the week beginning 25 June.
