Integrated Care Centre

The design work for the Integrated Health and Social Care Centre at Woodhead is progressing well. A preferred contractor has been identified for a Design and Build contract. The contractor has been instructed to progress the initial stages of the detailed design, including work on the various building consents. There are still a number of planning issues which need to be resolved including clarity on the access arrangements and transport impacts. This aspect of the work is quite complicated and can take some time. Experienced consultants are currently working on a report which I expect around the end of February.
